Clear skies for a period in the morning plus calm winds saw a good passage of 285 Swallows through the island, along with a Sand Martin, 13 House Martins and 16 Grey Wagtails. A surprising movement of Common Terns also took place in the calm conditions, with 105 recorded; an adult Pomarine Skua also flew past the coast.

Three Risso's Dolphins and five Harbour Porpoises were present off the island's coast.
