Despite the calm weather, there was very little in the way of migrants on the island today, with few birds passing overhead either. Four Grey Wagtails flew over the withies in the morning, six White Wagtails were present on Solfach, and ten Chiffchaffs were scattered throughout along with a single Reed Warbler in Cristin Withy. An Arctic Skua and a Great Skua flew passed out to sea, whilst two Sparrowhawks and a Kestrel hunted overhead.

Willow Warbler numbers are decreasing now
Eight Wheatears had arrived onto the South end during the day, with a further five around the Narrows
A triad of raptors- two Sparrowhawks (left) and a Kestrel (right)
Odonata for the day comprised of two Migrant Hawkers
