Lapwing and three
Fieldfares were the only different sightings of another very windy day on the 27th. The wind finally abated on the 28th, and saw a slight increase in the number of thrushes around: 25
Blackbirds, four
Fieldfares, 16
Song Thrushes and four
Redwings were recorded. Two pale,
abetinus-type
Chiffchaffs were seen at Ty Pellaf and in Cristin Withy. A
Woodcock was flushed from the mountain and 13
Common Gulls passed by at sea.
The very mobile, abetinus-type Chiffchaff has remained around Ty Pellaf for the last few days, and another was present in the withies today
