A largely quiet day saw a small movement off gulls off the coast in the morning including a Little Gull, Mediterranean Gull and over 120 Black-headed Gulls. The Eider remained in Solfach, whilst a Water Rail was heard in the withies and the tristis Chiffchaff was also present.

This first winter male Eider has been present in Solfach for just under a week now
a flock of up to 250 Starlings has been frequenting Solfach in recent days
a good count of 78 Turnstones was recorded today
