A good day on the 8th saw the
Firecrest remaining in the Nant area, an
abetinus Chiffchaff in the withies, and two
Fieldfares and eight
Song Thrushes scattered around the lowlands. Although the wind had picked up on the 9th, a gull flock comprised of 180
Black-headed Gulls and 350
Kittiwakes off the South end saw 12
Mediterranean Gulls and three
Little Gulls joining them.
The lovely male Firecrest remained around the Nant area, occasionally joining the small flock of six Goldcrests in the Plantation
