The 24th was a quiet day, although a
Jack Snipe flushed from the unlikely location of Ty Nesaf pines mid-morning was perhaps the highlight of the day. The
Firecrest showed well on both days, along with the usual six
Goldcrests. Also on the 24th, five
Snipe were flushed from the lowlands, where a
Redwing and seven
Song Thrushes were also seen. Very little of note was present on the 25th, other than the pair of
Sparrowhawks seen devouring a
Blackbird in Cristin Withy.

Only the second Jack Snipe of the year
