January ended on a fittingly quiet note, with hardly anything at all seen. Four Gannets flew past at sea, four Snipe were flushed inland and a Sparrowhawk was seen at Nant. The 1st of February was also very quiet, with five Snipe in the wetlands, and six Shelducks around the Narrows with eight Lesser Black-backed Gulls.
