It was a much quieter day bird-wise, with stronger Southerly winds picking up during the day. Migrants were very thin on the ground, although a Grasshopper Warbler was trapped at Cristin in the early hours; 38 Wheatears were scattered around the coast; three Sandwich Terns were seen in Solfach and eight Redpolls were present at Cristin.

Three Sandwich Terns spent the morning on the rocks in Solfach, sometimes being washed completely off the rocks when a stray wave hit
One of the terns (above) was already ringed, although unfortunately the ring number could not be read fully.
