It was a very chilly day, with brisk south-eaterlies. The movement of migrants through the island continued to be quite subtle, as opposed to a full on arrival. However, a handful of migrants was evident, with around 15 Chiffchaffs, three Goldcrests and two Wheatears recorded during the day. The first Firecrest of the year was seen briefly in Cristin garden in the afternoon, and the Black Redstart remained at Nant. A good count of 183 Meadow Pipits was made, with large flocks exceeding 100 in size. Elsewhere, a Collared Dove was seen in Ty Pellaf garden.
