With stronger south-westerly winds prevailing throughout most of the day, a deficit of passerine migrants inland turned most attention seaward. There was a reasonable selection of species on offer: singles of Red-throated Diver, Great Northern Diver and Pomarine Skua were recorded, along with three Arctic Skuas, a Great Skua, five Common Scoters, two Sandwich Terns, 126 Gannets, seven Fulmars, 101 Razorbills and two Puffins. Six Skylarks, three Swallows, 153 Meadow Pipits, a White Wagtail and two Blackcaps were seen inland.
