There was a small movement of birds noted out to sea today, 3298 Manx Shearwaters, three Common Scoters and a Sandwich Tern were logged.

A Kestrel seen hunting was presumably the same individual that has been hanging around for the last few days. The three Sanderlings, two Purple Sandpipers, one Dunlin, two Whimbrels, 25 Curlews, three Redshanks and 20 Turnstones were the most obvious migrants today. The juv. Cuckoo made another appearance in the Wetlands today, a Swift made its way through the island seven Willow Warblers were presumably also migrants.
