Lesser Whitethroat |
The first brood of Moorhens was recorded today with five chicks on Ty Pellaf pond. The four Raven chicks from the nest at Barcut have fledged and were doing noisy acrobatics above Pen Cristin in the high winds.
This afternoon Sam and Megan headed down to the Withies with Rachel Porter for some watercolour painting of the local flora. Stuart went out with the endoscope and recorded several Manx Shearwater burrows with eggs as part of the Productivity survey.
