Another good day for House Martins on the Island with over 200 flying around Cristin during the morning; of these an incredible 80 were caught! Other passerine highlights were two Tree Pipits and a Pied Flycatcher. Birds of prey continued to pass over with two Red Kites and a Marsh Harrier. Cetaceans continued to perform off the West Coast with 40+ Common Dolphins and six Risso's Dolphins.

Other birds today included a Grey Heron, a Sparrowhawk, a Kestrel, two Dunlins, two Whimbrels, 32 Curlews, three Redshanks, four Turnstones, six Mediterranean Gulls, 83 Black-headed Gulls, a Sandwich Tern, a Feral Pigeon, five Swifts, 70 Swallows, eight Blackcaps, 13 Willow Warblers, three Spotted Flycatchers and 276 Linnets.
