A slight drop in the winds overnight that continued to the morning produced a small arrival to the Island, the most notable of which was a
Long-eared Owl that was flushed from the garden at Cristin! This was the first sighting of one since 2018. When trying to relocate it after it flew out the garden, a
Yellow-browed Warbler was found at Ty Pellaf - the first for the year. A
Reed Bunting was also seen there.

Passage at sea was fairly quiet today save for a good movement of Razorbills, with 2119 heading south. Other species seen were a Fulmar, 141 Gannets, nine Common Scoters, a Mediterranean Gull, nine Black-headed Gulls, 168 Kittiwakes, a Sandwich Tern, and 21 Guillemots. Other migrants seen today were 30 Goldcrests, four Blackcaps, four Chiffchaffs, three Grey Wagtails, two Skylarks, a Sparrowhawk, three Grey Herons, two Ringed Plovers, 47 Curlews, 37 Turnstones, and a Dunlin.
Lepitdoptera were more active today and on the move, as the third Clouded Yellow of the year was seen, alongside a Large White and four Red Admirals.
