A small drop in the consistent north-westerlies produced the first Redwing of the autumn in Cristin garden, alongside a Lesser Whitethroat at Ty Pellaf. The tide race at South End was fairly fruitful in the afternoon as two Pink-footed Geese were seen battling the winds offshore before rising high over the Island, and the first Great Northern Diver of the year was sighted.
