Howling south-westerlies made for a fairly quiet day again here on the Island, though seawatching in the morning and afternoon produced a Great Skua, an Arctic Tern, 58 Manx Shearwaters, 60 Gannets, five Common Scoters, 280 Kittiwakes, 13 Guillemots, and 477 Razorbills.

On land, the only species of note that were recorded included a Sparrowhawk, two Ringed Plovers, 57 Curlews, a Redshank, a Skylark, 10 Meadow Pipits, a Song Thrush, a Blackcap, and 10 Goldcrests. The rest of the day was spent catching up on desk work, mostly writing up reports for the various projects carried out this year.
