South-easterlies continued to blow moderately and produced a small arrival to the Island; the highlights being a Black Redstart, a late Spotted Flycatcher in the Withies, a Wheatear (Greenland race), a Yellow-browed Warbler, and a Firecrest. There were still a few thrushes about including a small fall of 38 Blackbirds, alongside 12 Fieldfares, four Song Thrushes, and 44 Redwings.

It was quiet at sea with seven Common Scoters, four Gannets, 30 Black-headed Gulls, a Kittiwake, and three Razorbills being all of note.
Other species seen today were two Sparrowhawks, a Kestrel, three Merlins, 18 Purple Sandpipers, 38 Turnstones, two Snipes, a Woodpigeon, four Skylarks, an 'Alba' Wagtail, 10 Blackcaps, five Chiffchaffs, 22 Goldcrests, a Goldcrest, 51 Starlings, 23 Chaffinches, eight Siskin, five Goldfinches, 11 Linnets, and a a Lesser Redpoll.

The first Odonata species in a while was sighted in the form of a Common Darter at Ty Capel - the first of the year.
