Strong south westerly winds soon brought heavy rain, during the morning two Arctic Skuas, two Sandwich Terns and five Common Scoters battled south. Three Grey Herons were in the Wetlands, the Gyr Falcon remained with a Sanderling in Solfach and nine Purple Sandpipers on the Narrows over high tide.
