The wind calmed to a brisk westerly, off the West Coast a Storm Petrel, five Arctic Skuas, two Common Scoters, 13 Sandwich Terns, 14 Ringed Plovers, two Curlews and 51 Whimbrels south. Elsewhere, a Chaffinch went over, four Goldcrests were at Nant, a Little Egret was in the Wetlands with Willow Warblers only totally three. The day ended with three Robins being trapped in the Heligoland trap, all new birds suggesting some late arrival.
