A pleasant, calm day was rather quiet on the bird front, although a vibrantly-coloured male Blue-headed Wagtail was seen several times during the course of the day. A White Wagtail was on the beach, a solitary Spotted Flycatcher was seen and the Ringed Plover, Icelandic Whimbrel and a Ruddy Turnstone remained. Painted Lady numbers rose to an impressive 75, and a few small migrant moths were also identified.
