Hardly any landbird migration has been evident in the last few days, with a single Sedge Warbler near the lighthouse the only apparently new migrant to be found today. Before foul weather swept in from the sea in the afternoon, a bit of seabird passage was observed from the comfort of the bench in front of Cristin: four Balearic Shearwaters passed by with good numbers of their Manx cousins, while other species recorded included seven Common Terns, four Sandwich Terns, a Common Scoter, six Ringed Plovers and six Dunlins
