An even quieter day than the previous one was enlivened only by a flock of 12 Crossbills that paid a brief visit to the plantation in the morning. A Great Spotted Woodpecker was at Nant and flyover landbirds included five Skylarks, a Tree Pipit and five Grey Wagtails. Other migrant passerines included two Song Thrushes, a Reed Warbler, a Garden Warbler, two Blackcaps, six Chiffchaffs, an acredula Willow Warbler, 21 Goldcrests, a Spotted Flycatcher, three Blue Tits, three Great Tits, 86 Chaffinches and 26 Goldfinches.
