With a dragging south westerly wind persisting the only birds of interest were logged as the mid-morning sea-movement rush took place; 32 Little Gulls, 8 Mediterranean Gulls, 300 Black-headed Gulls and Kittiwakes sped southward to a huge feeding flock of gulls to the far east. A Snow Bunting remained on the maritime heath and a few Chiffchaffs sheltered in the island's gardens. 2 Manx Shearwaters seen in the afternoon were the only other highlight of another fairly dull day.
