A fair selection of seabirds were seen during a rather better day. A Black-throated Diver was the highlight, while other notable sightings included two Whooper Swans, a Great Northern Diver, two Fulmars, a Manx Shearwater, three Eiders, two Common Scoters, an Arctic Skua, a Mediterranean Gull and a Little Gull. 15 Skylarks and a Lapland Bunting flew overhead, 1080 Starlings were swirling around the lowlands and a small arrival of finches consisted of 77 Chaffinches, six Bramblings, 16 Greenfinches and five Siskins.
