Another sunny, cold day’s birding saw plentiful numbers of birds scattered around. On the morning rounds of the South end, five Wigeons and three Teals fed with the Mallards in Solfach with wader-numbers remaining high: two Ringed Plovers, six Golden Plovers, a Grey Plover, seventeen Lapwings and three Dunlins were dotted around the narrows and inland. The wetlands and mountain were full of Snipe with 127 seen! A Jack Snipe and thirty six Woodcocks were along side them. Two hundred Skylarks were divided between the arable fields.

Snipe continue to arrive in numbers.
The Mallards have drawn in quite a few ducks recently; here pictured with two Wigeons.
