Yet another quiet day seemed to set us into a continuing, birdless pattern. Very few birds were seen although a Teal on the inland pools, three Ringed Plovers on Solfach and a Jack Snipe in the wetlands with eleven Common Snipe were the ‘highlights’. The usual selection of raptors continued to hunt small birds; a Buzzard, a Kestrel, a Merlin and two Peregrine Falcons were scattered around.
