A gale force easterly wind had developed overnight and some drizzle also accompanied it. Little was seen in the way of birds although three Ringed Plovers and a Knot were in Solfach at high tide whilst four Teals and two Wigeons sheltered with the Mallards.
Three Shelducks have been feeding around the narrows for the last few days.
A couple Redwings fed with twenty Song Thrushes inland. Pictures (c) Ben Porter
