Another windy day with gale-force south-westerly winds saw very few birds about. As usual, a feeding flock of gulls gathered in Solfach at high tide, the counts coming to: eight Black headed Gulls, a Common Gull, 280 Herring Gulls, a Lesser black backed and six Greater black backed Gulls. A Red throated Diver flew in from the west during the afternoon and a Barn Owl was seen during the previous night back in the lambing shed at Ty Pellaf.
