A fresh northerly wind had picked up during the night and so temperatures took a chilly knock. A Common Scoter flew past the south tip with two Gannets, a Fulmar, fifty four Razorbills and eight Guillemots. Four Ringed Plovers were either side of the narrows and a couple Whimbrels were also around. An unusual flock of eleven Ravens flew over Cristin mid-morning and headed over the sound to leave the usual pair alone. Ten Woodpigeons were at nant and a male Goldcrest added a bit of variety to the mainly Robin centred chorus.
