Thick fog carpeted the island by mid-morning and little of any consequence was seen. A Dunlin and the two Ring Plovers fed with twenty four Turnstones on Henllwyn whist a Whimbrel was with the Curlew flock (36 counted today). The Brambling was again with the Chaffinches at Ty Pellaf and a couple Woodpigeons sheltered in the plantation.

A few Robins are providing the majority of the dawn chorus on the island at the moment.
The usual Chough flock has dispersed now as the last high tide swept away the rotting kelp piles on Solfach leaving nothing for them to feed on. Pictures (c) Ben Porter
