Some sunny intervals were interspersed amongst the heavy drizzle and a fresh south-easterly winds that persisted throughout most of the day. Another quite day bird-wise saw very little about. Good numbers of waders were present at high tide however nothing different was amongst them. Fourteen Mallards and five Shelducks were the only ducks around and the first Rock Pipit began singing quietly in its rather strange position under Solfach hide!

A Curlew flock continues to feed in the fields just inland of the coast.
