A small decrease in the strength of the south westerly wind saw the odd migrant scattered around; a Wheatear fed on the narrows; two Chiffchaffs were fly-catching in the shelter of the new plantation; a White Wagtail joined the Pied Wagtails on Solfach and a Goldcrest was again in Cristin Withie. A Redwing joined the thrushes of the island, though very few at the moment, with two Song Thrushes and four Blackbirds as the usual birds present.
