The weather finally caved in early in the morning, with heavy rain throughout the day accompanied by strong winds gusting from the east. Five Dunlins, the usual pair of Ringed Plovers and five Curlews were around the narrows, whilst a small passage of seabirds amounted to: a Fulmar, 152 Manx Shearwaters, 24 Gannets, 16 Kittiwakes and a single Black headed Gull in Solfach. A single Goldfinch was seen at Nant, along with a singing Willow Warbler and a Spotted Flycatcher was seen at Cristin.
