Despite amounting to another rather uneventful day, a good passage of Swifts was apparent, with 16 individuals recorded during the day. A juvenile Redstart was seen above Cristin, where a Little Owl was also seen. Five Ringed Plovers (the second brood hatched out now), a Common Sandpiper and a Whimbrel were today’s wader counts, and the usual Grey Heron was again around the coast. A Grasshopper Warbler was seen on the south end in the morning, whilst a Goldfinch was again at Nant.
