Two Grasshopper Warblers, one in the gorse on the south end and the other in the thistles by Solfach, had obviously arrived, and a young Willow Warbler was also in the gorse on the south end. A flock of 22 Sand Martins flew over the north end, whilst another was seen on the south end; five Swifts and six House Martins were also seen here. Six Black-headed Gulls, a Grey Heron, 28 Curlews and two Redshanks were around the narrows, whilst a Kestrel and three juvenile Peregrine Falcons were seen over the mountain. The Song Thrush was again at Nant, as well as a male Blackcap and a Collared Dove; a Goldfinch and a Lesser Redpoll flew around the lowlands.

A very nice Burnished Brass was caught by Cristin Withy during the night.
