With very few other birds of interest around in the increasingly gloomy weather, a very smart male Black Redstart seen at Ty Pellaf was probably the best bird of the day. A Common Redstart was seen at Cristin, and eight Sedge Warblers, six Whitethroats, six Chiffchaffs and 16 Willow Warblers were at Nant and in the withies. The pair of Ringed Plovers, continuing to incubate four eggs, were joined by two more today, and two Common Sandpipers, a Redshank, five Whimbrels and 21 Curlews were also present around the narrows. A Sand Martin was the only hirundine seen to be moving through, although 53 Swallows and four House Martins were seen all over the island.

Argyresthia albistria- several have been seen on consecutive days in Cristin garden.
