Fewer birds were seen today, although some migrants had arrived during the night and were scattered around the island. The juvenile Whinchat was again present in the south end gorse, whilst 79 Willow Warblers were dotted around and two Spotted Flycatchers were seen in Cristin Withy and at Nant. Four Redshanks, the usual Ringed Plover, 22 Curlews and a Common Sandpiper were the only waders seen, and the Grey Heron was around the narrows.

Stonechat-some pairs have now had their third broods
Marbled Beauty (top) and Square Spot Dart (bottom)
