In comparison to the number of birds around yesterday, today was extremely quiet. In the morning, a Tree Pipit flew over Pencristin, a Skylark was seen on the track and a Goldcrest was again at Nant. The usual gathering of waders by Solfach at high tide contained a Sanderling and a Knot today, with the totals of commoner species coming to: six Ringed Plovers, two Dunlins, two Whimbrels, 51 Curlews, 19 Redshanks and 13 Turnstones. The flock of Sandwich Terns on Carreg yr Honwy had decreased to 12 birds today, and the usual Grey Heron was around the narrows. The Sparrowhawk and Kestrel were the only birds of prey about.

The first Sanderling for some time spent the day on Solfach.
