Very few birds were around in the calm, but worsening weather conditions today. A Common Gull flew past the south tip of the island in the morning, and two Collared Doves were by the lighthouse. Three Sand Martins and 20 House Martins passed through during the day, whilst a Garden Warbler was found above Cristin; counts of other warblers seen amounted to: five Sedge Warblers, four Whitethroats, five Chiffchaffs and 33 Willow Warblers. Two Sandwich Terns were seen off the north end of the island in the afternoon.
