Despite a few odds and ends dotted around, it was, on the whole, a rather quiet day. A Whinchat by the limekiln was the first since early August, the Wryneck was again around Carreg Bach and a Tree Pipit and Grey Wagtail flew over the south end. 240 Swallows and six House Martins flew around the lowlands in the morning, whilst two Spotted Flycatchers, two Garden Warblers, two Blackcaps and 13 Goldcrests were were seen around Nant and Cristin.
A Teal in the Greenlane was the most noteworthy non-passerine about, although three Sanderlings and two each of Dunlin and Common Sandpiper were seen in Solfach. A Great Skua passed by at sea, whilst raptors seen included a Merlin, a Sparrowhawk and a Kestrel .
