Despite the heavy showers and strong south-easterly winds that buffeted the island throughout the day, one or two oddities found there way to the island. Six Pink-footed Geese (only the sixth record for the island) flying East over Nant in the afternoon were the highlights of the day, although other notable sightings included five Pomarine Skuas and three Mediterranean Gulls off the narrows in the morning, the five Brent Geese, four Woodcocks and a Mistle Thrush. Two Snipe were flushed from the wetlands, whilst residue from previous days included two Song Thrushes, a Fieldfare, a Blackcap, four Chiffchaffs, five Goldcrests, 34 Chaffinches, four Goldfinches and a Lesser Redpoll.
