A good selection of waders of over 10 species was present around the Narrows at high tide. The more notable of these included five Purple Sandpipers, five Whimbrels, 11 Turnstones, a Common Sandpiper and the same Knot. Very little was seen elsewhere, with a single Willow Warbler in Cristin Withy representing the only migrant.

Purple Sandpipers (top) and some smart Turnstones (bottom) gathered on the rocks near Solfach at high tide
Some pairs of Stonechats have now had their third broods
