Sunday 8 July 2012

A wader thought to be a tringa was seen flying around in the mist over the Narrows in the morning, although unfortunately disappeared around Pencristin not long later. However, later on in the morning, a possible Wood Sandpiper was heard calling in the lowlands, although once again evaded clinch identification by disappearing again. There was very little else to report, other than a flock of 46 Common Scoters through the sound.
