Apologies for the absence of any avian news, but I have been off the island for the last week.
There was little to report returning to the island, although the Firecrest was present amongst nine Goldcrests at Nant, a Golden Plover flew over the west side, four Shelducks and 14 Common Scoters flew past at sea and two Song Thrushes were on Pencristin.

The Firecrest continues to be very obliging around the Nant area
