An increasingly strong easterly wind and persistent rain throughout saw very few birds around the island.
A slightly higher total of 10 Willow Warblers were scattered around, along with a couple of Whitethroats.
A good count of waders around the Narrows at high tide amounted to two Ringed Plovers, eight Dunlins, 22 Curlews, 19 Redshanks, 27 Turnstones.
