A small movement of hirundines and swifts over the island was perhaps the most pronounced sign of any migrants during a very calm and sunny day. A total of five Swifts, 49 Swallows and 45 House Martins were recorded during the morning; two Spotted Flycatchers and a Chiffchaff were new in, and two Buzzards flew over the mountain.
