A small arrival of migrants on the island today with top billing awarded to the Stock Dove seen sat on the Schoolhouse in the morning before moving to Nant later. The Cristin garden was busiest during the day allowing the mist nets to be opened for the first time this season. Overall, nine Chiffchaffs, 16 Goldcrests, one Firecrest, two Greenfinches, two Siskins, and ten Goldfinches were recorded in the gardens.
A single Red-throated Diver, two Manx Shearwaters, and one Common Scoter were seen off the West Coast whilst the South End was productive for gulls with one Black-headed Gull, 237 Herring Gulls, 11 Great-blacked Gulls, and 48 Kittiwakes recorded. The island also held one Buzzard, one Merlin, three Peregrines, one Water Rail, ten Turnstones, 122 Meadow Pipits, three Wheatears, three Redwings and one Starling.
