A Great Northern Diver flying off the
South End in the morning was a surprise with mid-summer records a bit of a
scarcity. More movement at sea comprised 65 Gannets, two Common Scoters, and two Sandwich Terns.
The
first two Grey Wagtails of the
autumn bounded south overhead with two Swifts
heading in the same direction. A flock of ten Turnstones were on Carreg Yr Honwy whilst two Collared Doves and one Starling were the only new birds
inland.
