A
flock of four Crossbills were mobile
around The Plantation this morning, at one point coming down to Nant Pond to
drink. These continue an excellent run of records this year and hopefully just
the start of a late movement.

The
Narrows are starting to harbour the odd returning wader with one Ringed Plover, one Whimbrel,
eight Curlews, one Redshank, and 26 Turnstones present alongside a Grey
Heron.
36 Gannets and 11 Common Scoters were offshore as one Buzzard, one Collared Dove, three Whitethroats, one Starling,
and one Siskin were found inland.
