A very quiet day, with the exception of the first
Black-tailed Godwit of the year over the Narrows. Four
Curlews, a single
Whimbrel and three
Redshanks were also around, and a single "
Commic" Tern was observed off Henllwyn; one of very few records so far this year for either of that species group.
Five
Starlings were at the North End, but no other passerine movement was noted on a day that was, overall, exceedingly quiet.
